Bauhaus DMB 26 Ceiling Light
With an impressive and timeless presence, the Ceiling Light radiates beautifully in interiors with modern and classic furniture. It was created in 1926 by painter, sculptor, photographer and designer Marianne Brandt, one of the most famous Bauhaus artists, whose designs are now on display at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the British Museum in London.
The DMB 26 lamp has an opal glass sphere that appears to float in the room as it diffuses hazy light. The spherical lights are suspended from three delicate rods attached to the circular base plate. Glass balls come in different sizes. While the glass is covered with opal, the metal base plate and rods have a different finish. The ceiling light is available in nickel-plated metal or polished and zaponiert brass.
