IC Lights Pendant Lamp
Designer Michael Anastassiades was inspired by the juggler's technique of rotating and moving spheres on his body after watching a juggling video. He wanted to capture the moment when the spheres stayed on his arms and fingertips, and thus the IC Lights series lamps were born.
Like the other models in the IC Light collection, the IC Lights pendant lamp combines the designer's love of industrial simplicity with sophisticated symbolism. IC Lights pendant lamps are available in black, chrome and gold. The lamp provides diffuse light through a mouth-blown opalescent sphere supported by a steel frame.
The milky ball is clearly unstable, and it looks as if it might slip away, as if it were a vaudeville-performing contraption in which the ball and baton are magically balanced. It is a stylish glass ball chandelier, suitable for bedroom dining room, office decoration, cafe decoration.
